Grampian Police introduces ranbow flag to Police station
As part of our commitment to diversity and equality, Grampian Police is pleased to introduce a universally recognised symbol of this to the Force.
The rainbow colours are acknowledged throughout the world as a sign of equality and diversity and Grampian Police will display a rainbow window sticker in all their offices throughout the Force.
PC Derek Allison, Aberdeenshire Division Diversity Officer said: “It is a great way of advertising the Grampian Police commitment and understanding of equality and diversity.

UK Police forces are now gay-friendly
Police forces are among the most gay-friendly employers in England, particularly in Hampshire, Kent, Merseyside, and the West Midlands, according to a new survey by gay rights campaigners Stonewall. Even the Metropolitan Police – which has faced some criticisms in the past over its attitude towards minority groups – made it into the top 20 of liberal-minded employers.
